Damariscotta-Newcastle ArtWalk is a free, self-guided walking/driving tour of art venues in Damariscotta and Newcastle. The ArtWalk takes place the third Friday of the month from 4 to 7 p.m., June through September.

The event promotes awareness of the diverse local arts groups;  started by a small coalition of art connoisseurs, business owners and nonprofit leaders. There is an incredibly eclectic range of participants, 
including 22 sites of  art/craft galleries, gift shops, nonprofits and restaurants.
