The Relief Bus doesn't exist to solve problems, but to love people. New York City Relief converted two school buses into mobile outreach centers that go directly to those who are most vulnerable, lonely, and hurting to provide a meal, new socks, toiletries, and connections to resources that offer a way out. Week after week, rain or shine, the Relief Bus throws a party on the sidewalk for anyone and everyone.

As New York’s largest emergency food program, Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen serves a hearty and nutritious meal to about 1,000 homeless and hungry New Yorkers every day. In addition to a food program, their committed staff and volunteers work with guests to ensure they are receiving full benefits, connect them to additional supportive services, help with job applications and even reunite them with family members.
